    per PFF:

    PITTSBURGH STEELERS
You lose Ben Roethlisberger and your hopes and dreams fade away, right? Well, Mason Rudolph offered some consolation if the injury forces Big Ben to miss games; he shows a level of poise and accuracy you’d hope for but not necessarily expect from your backup quarterback. On the evidence of this cameo, the Steelers traded away the right backup signal-caller.

Alejandro Villanueva was excellent today. He is rarely beaten in a league where playing left tackle has never seemed harder. More difficult tasks will await him, but he would be a reassuring presence on any team.

The Seahawks had a plan early on, targeting D.K. Metcalf in coverage against Steven Nelson. They liked it so much they tried it again. And again. And again. Only after working early, it never worked again and instead showcased an excellent display of competing at the catch point from Nelson, who ended up winning this matchup.

There will be ups and downs for most rookies, and Devin Bush is no different. A couple of bad angles and missed tackles highlighted an inconsistent display in this one.

I suppose there were some good things today - but the only thing I'm positive of is the Steelers are 0-2, off to another slow september start, and we're an MRI away from looking for better depth at QB.

don't be shocked if Kap gets a workout.

I will pick a new team if that happens. Guaranteed

not saying for one second I'd support that - but if we need depth, i'm not sure who is out there who can play. Landry Jones???

The Seahawks looked good. We might have just played the 2 teams most likely to go to the SuperBowl.

We might have Mason beating the Pats and then Seahawks in back to back games to end our season and bring home #7.

Moncrief has got to be one of the loneliest guys on the team right now. What a huge disappointment he's been.
From the 2010-2018 season, (An 8 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks. Our history has been defined by what we do in the postseason; not the regular season.

My official proclamation: WE WILL NOT WIN ANOTHER SUPER BOWL WITH MIKE TOMLIN AS OUR HEAD COACH. SO WHY DELAY THE INEVITABLE?

    FIRE MIKE TOMLIN
