I wish people would/could leave politics out of a Steelers Football Forum.

Well, that's good to know. The problem is, how do we entice someone to trade for him and his $9 million guaranteed salary for this year?

Doesn't look promising to do that. Well, he can spell Houston and bring players drinks and refreshments at halftime.
From the 2010-2018 season, (8 years after Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks. Our history has been defined by what we do in the postseason; not the regular season.

    it doesn't matter Pete

he gets the 9 million regardless

I can admit to him not being a total bum and he has value. maybe pay him this year, add houston, and draft a rookie early and hope he steps up for next year

Since Houston was cut he would not count against the loss of Bell in the compensatory formula. Would be a very interesting signing if it happened.

I hear ya, just hurts taking the 9.2 cap hit but if we get Houston then we really dont need that cap space

First, let's get Houston. Then get excited.
