It's a rental for a year, not a long term contract. The Steelers want to avoid a situation of having to reach in the draft to fill a huge hole. It's a smart move if you give it some thought. Especially considering the rumored FA contracts that are being thrown about for average players.

I can understand the anger towards AB but not his agent. The agent’s job is to get maximum value for his client. Period. And Rosenhaus did just that. Agents are very slimy, lawyer types but he did not do anything illegal.
