I think it’s actually the least important. Ben just signed an extension for 3 years. We have 2 young QB’s being groomed.

I don’t think there is any pressure for our FO to make a decision on moving on from these 2.

I agree, I highly doubt we select a QB on the first two days of the draft next year.

I think it’s the least of our worries as far as draft concerns.

I’m still interested in this battle but I think our FO is happy with these 2 picks. Especially seeing Dobbs hold off Rudolph last year.

may the better QB win the backup job, but after seeing Dobbs play poorly against the Raiders last season I'm hoping Rudolph steps up.

Then it's settled and there should be no concern if Roethlisberger would go down for an extended time.

Haha... well yeah. If he goes down for an extended period of time I doubt another rookie could save us.

If he had a career ending injury we definitely could draft another QB if they both sucked. We would probably have a high draft pick too.

If Rudolph can't top what Landry Jones did then I'd say it's Ben playing 16 games a yr or bust

    I'm in this camp.

We're screwed if Ben goes down either way. Maybe it matters for the future, but my guess is that neither guy is a franchise QB
