We need him to sign, can't trade him until he signs.

Not surprised he didn't come in on Monday -- he will probably wait until the last possible day he can sign and still collect his next weekly paycheck

If that's the case, he should have signed 2 days ago on Saturday. That way he would have gotten paid being on the roster for the game yesterday but would he would have been a game day inactive after not practicing all week.

    6.175 WR Keelan Doss
    6.192 G Beau Benzschawel
    6.207 RB Kerrith Whyte
    7.219 DE Armon Watts

    or

I'm thinking that since there's no game this coming weekend, he will not show up until next week, on the last possible day that he could sign and still get paid for the week 8 game.

Players get paid this week. Even though there are only 16 regular season games, their yearly salary get divided into 1/17 increments so they get paid every week, even the bye week.
