Edmunds has a Calf

    gotta love the Tomlin presser:
L.J. Fort has got an ankle injury, well see what that does to his availability in the early portions of the week and kind of let that be our guide. Edmunds has got a calf, in a similar way. Potentially scheduled to return to practice and then that participation being our guide in terms of game day availability are some guys that missed the last game. Vince Williams with his hamstring, Hey-Bey with his ankle and Morgan Burnett with his groin, all three guys ran at least in a straight line on land in some capacity last week, well see what they are able to do in terms of playing football and let that be our guide in terms of availability.
Edmunds would probably give us better mobility in our secondary if he had two calves.

Unfortunately, Edmunds' calf was eaten by Joey Porter's dogs.

Is having a calf better or worse than having a cow??

    Week 6 Injury Report (Bengals)

    Teresa Varley

    Steelers.com

Morgan Burnett has been sidelined for the last three games with a groin injury and missed practice once again on Wednesday.

In his absence Terrell Edmunds started the last three games, but he suffered a calf injury against the Falcons. The good news, though, is Edmunds was a full-go in practice on Wednesday.

Vince Williams missed the Falcons game with a hamstring injury, but he was back to work on Wednesday as a full participant.

With Williams out last week, L.J. Fort took some of the snaps. But Fort suffered an ankle injury early in the game, and his status for Sunday’s game against the Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium will likely play out in practice this week. Fort didn’t practice at all on Wednesday.

“We will see what that does to his availability at the early portions of the week and kind of let that be our guide,” said Coach Mike Tomlin. “Edmunds has got a calf in a similar way. Potentially scheduled to return to practice, then that participation being our guide in terms of game day availability.”

Darrius Heyward-Bey also missed the Falcons game with an ankle injury, and Tomlin said his availability, along with Burnett and Williams, will become clearer as the week goes on. Heyward-Bey joined Burnett not practicing on Wednesday.

“All three guys ran at least in a straight line on land in some capacity last week,” said Tomlin. “We’ll see what they are able to do in terms of playing football and let that be our guide in terms of availability.”

Can anyone donate a calf to this young man then?
