Per ESPN, agreement is in place to trade Mack to the Bears.

The Bears were allowed to talk to Mack first in order to secure a long term deal. I can't see them having done this without locking him up. Bell can't sign a long term deal until after the season.

We had no shot to get Mack, What they gave up to get Mack and the contract they will have to give him after Donald signed that deal, we weren't even on the same planet.

That's the beauty of having rookie QB contracts. Rams and Bears. Load up on all the skill positions before they have to lay money on the starting QB.

    Bingo.

But they sure put a lot of chips on Trubisky (sp?) not flaking out on them, 'cause they don't have even a dime left over to pay for someone else if he doesn't.
