Behind that O-line? By week # 5 or 6, he'll be fondly recalling the good old days. LOL
From the 2010-2018 season, (An 8 year period that the majority of Cowher's players & coaches had left) Mike Tomlin has only won 3 playoff games. And two of those wins were against back up Quarterbacks. Our history has been defined by what we do in the postseason; not the regular season.

For the record, the last time the Steelers rushed for more yards than the Jets was in 2011, when Le'Veon Bell was a sophomore at Michigan State.

    2018:
#26 NYJ 1622 rushing yards (101.4 rushing yards per game)
#31 PIT 1445 rushing yards (90.3 rushing yards per game)

    2017:
#19 NYJ 1702 rushing yards (106.4 rushing yards per game)
#20 PIT 1667 rushing yards (104.2 rushing yards per game)

    2016:
#12 NYJ 1802 rushing yards (112.6 rushing yards per game)
#14 PIT 1760 rushing yards (110.0 rushing yards per game)

    2015:
#10 NYJ 1868 rushing yards (116.8 rushing yards per game)
#16 PIT 1724 rushing yards (107.8 rushing yards per game)

    2014:
#3 NYJ 2280 rushing yards (142.5 rushing yards per game)
#16 PIT 1752 rushing yards (109.5 rushing yards per game)

    2013:
#6 NYJ 2158 rushing yards (134.9 rushing yards per game)
#27 PIT 1383 rushing yards (86.4 rushing yards per game)

    2012:
#12 NYJ 1896 rushing yards (118.5 rushing yards per game)
#26 PIT 1537 rushing yards (96.1 rushing yards per game)

Plus they added a run-blocking beast at guard this offseason in Kelechi Osemele.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Wow. I would’ve never thought the Jets would average more yards than us but it makes sense. Their QB play has been subpar for years so they rely on the ground game.

I doubt ANYONE on here would’ve believed this if it wasn’t posted.

So now if Bell has a good season folks will say “well of course, look at their past ground stats”

I've been playing fantasy football since 1998; I've won my league 7 times; came in second twice and came in third once. Our by in is 750.00 an owner. Please see the offensive line rankings below:

There is a difference being a successful running back when you have a great o-line and a HOF QB and passing game to keep the defenses honest and the safety out of the box.

It's another thing to be keyed on behind an inferior offensive line and a QB that strikes no fear in the defense. And Bell will be keyed on.

With those things said, Bell will not be near as effective in New York as he was in Pittsburgh. And there is no way I take Bell in round one of my fantasy draft ....no way. And I pick at # 11 and he's projected to be there and I will not be taking him.

With focus on the RBs. The Jets QBs are what gave the them more rushing yards than the Steelers. Remove the QB yards and the Steelers far out-rush the Jets in most of those years, except last year.

I think fantasy rankings of the OL mean jack squat.

IMO Ruthless simply pointed out the Jets OL isn’t nearly as bad as some would think and bashing them is probably due to hating on Bell and not ok their actual ability to run block.

No one cares if you take Bell or not. He probably won’t be there anyway because some folks are more concerned with winning their fantasy league than proving a point.

I take Ben damn near ever year as one one of my QB’s and everyone on here knows how I feel about him. Good but prone to ugly games... plus he passes a lot.

You should never bring your personal beefs into fantasy football but to each their own.

This might very well be the case when they were 19th in the NFL in rushing and we were 20th, or when they were 12th in the league in rushing and we were 14th...both very close...I didn't go that far in depth...just raw rushing stats that are easy to find.

However, there were other years listed above where they were 3rd and we were 16th, they were 6th and we were 27th, they were 12th and we were 26th...gaps that large wouldn't be attributed to QB rushing yards.

The Jets have been pretty effective using the committee approach with Bilal Powell, Isaiah Crowell and Matt Forte in the recent past. I think they are expecting a vast improvement because they invested so much money in Bell. I don't think they will get the bang for their buck. I think Bell will just be basically just as effective or maybe slightly better. But paying a guy big money does not mean that he will produce greatly. That's a mistake that has been made numerous times in professional sports.

There are no personal beefs from me; you brought Ben into the discussion and I elaborated on it. You have a personal beef with Ben; people already know about it and it’s okay for you to bring it in but don’t expect someone not to follow up on what you say.
