itís one less LB rushing the passer. If Bell is covered, you throw it somewhere else but most LBís canít keep up with Bell in pass coverage.

    Itís not rocket science

This is what happens when a LB tried to sit on a route with Bell

    and this

This is what happens when the OL breaks down

Itís funny how fans forget how gangster Bell is with a football in his hands.

He wasn't as gangster in 2017 as he was in 2016, by quite a margin. And 2018 gangsterism was limited to jet-skis. What I think fans forget is what a douchbag Bell is without a football in his hands. And let's not forget he's a half-wit - the man actually voluntarily took a pay cut to leave the Steelers and play for the dog-ass Jets. Dim bulb. Many acuity experts suspect his IQ is in low 80s.

He gets paid for his football IQ.

You sound bitter. I get it though, he made a decision that he felt was best for his future and he wasn’t under contract.

    Many acuity experts, eh?

I regularly meet with a dozen acuity experts every Sunday afternoon at Starbucks, where we discuss Le'Veon Bell's IQ projections for a least 3.5 hours each week. And none of the acuity experts I know suspect his IQ is in the low 80's. Three of them believe it is in the high 70's. Four of them believe it is in the low-to-mid 90's. Two peg him right around the average IQ of 100, one figures he's slightly above average, and the last guy thinks he might actually qualify for potential MENSA membership.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

If the Jet's use Bell as receiver effectively, I would think that would be the best way to use him. I am not bitter about Bell. Players come and go and I think the best attitude is not to become overly attached to players, because their careers can be short or they can leave your favorite team due to injury, contractual issues or other personal reasons.

At first I liked Bell, but when he exhibited total self-centeredness and complete focus on his payday, I lost interest, yeah. Why I think the Jets will end up looking like they overpaid is that most of his best moments were before 2017. He started showing a decline in his last year with the Steelers, when he averaged 4.0 yards a carry and his ave per reception took a dip also. He took a year off to rejuvenate, but he spent that year smoking a lot of marijuana and engaging in recreational activities.

He still is invested in emulating the rap lifestyle, smoking ganga and having promiscuous sexual escapades. I don't think this the way to maintain your prime health. These activities will have the effect of eroding his health and athletic abilities.

When he was with the Steelers he worked with the HOF QB and the offense was very oriented to giving him the ball. His stats were great because he handled the ball so often. I think that scenario will be difficult for him duplicate with the Jets. I think they were be more likely to play different backs and try to diversify the offense, but that remains to be seen.

    Last 4 games of 2017

    69 rushes for 310 yards -4.5 ypg - 4 TD’s

    24 receptions for 259 yards - 2 TD’s

It’s cool to throw out the 4.0 ypc stat but Bell was extremely efficient the last quarter of 2017.

As far as sex... he isn’t a boxer. That doesn’t impact his on field production.

Bell averaged well over 1900 yards rushing and receiving between 2016-2017.
Does anyone think he will accomplish these same stats with the Jets offense?
I’m just looking for other poster’s opinions. Personally, I don’t think he will.

Bell is a great RB but not enough to make a big difference.
The Jets will still be way under .500 this year, so who really cares?

I’m hoping he gives the Pats fits next year.

I’m not concerned with the wins and losses. I doubt they finish over .500 but I think they will be better than last year.

Also, I don’t think it’s about getting insane stats. I think it’s about keeping the Jets defense of the field and keeping games close while relieving pressure on a 2nd year QB.

I can’t lie, I like watching a generational talent run the rock while breaking defenders ankles and stiff arming guys. I’m a fan of great RB’s.
