I think there were two, maybe three untimed plays at 0:00 ... I just wanted KC to lose so badly, I was almost as worked up as in a Steeler game ...
So KC's got two losses, and we do too, and we have the tiebreaker ... so are we #1 seed?

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!
HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!
After we win this Sunday (assuming we win this Sunday), we will be. "SHIP IT!!!"
That was a great game last night.
I lost a bet about Najee gaining 1300 yards.
"Our head coach has failed to win a playoff game for seven years in a row. His game day strategy, culture of divas, in game decisions, clock management, player evaluation, hires, and affinity with sub par starters at RB, P, and OL are holding the Steelers back. That standard remains the standard"
I think we will be the #1 seed after this week. But seeds only matter after week 17.
As of right now, the Steelers are the #2 seed...the Chiefs have a slightly better win%...
But, if the Steelers win, they will be the clear #1 seed...but only because the Pats** have already played three non-conference games versus our two...we have a better AFC record (3-1 vs. 2-1)...also, the common opponents tiebreaker also favors Pittsburgh (to date, only the Chiefs)...
Probably best to worry about it later in the season...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.
By virtue of playing on Thursday night. they have an extra game under their belt. If we win on sunday we will be 5-2 as well and will be on top of the Chiefs due to our win. If the pats win on sunday night, they will be 5-2 as well so you'll have 3 division winners with the same record. Not that it matters at this time - but we are right in the mix and if we beat the Pats in december things are looking good. Bottom line, the Steelers can control their destiny due to playing the pats and chiefs. Moreover, they have games against the texans and the colts so we have a path towards being on top with regards to the AFC south.
Lot's of football left - BUT if the Steelers take care of business the scheduled gods have laid out a path to the #1 seed that goes through Pittsburgh. There could be some games beyond our control with respect to Tenn, Oakland and Denver - but for now, the dominoes couldn't be lined up any better.
2014 MNF EXEC CHAMPION!!!
well with our history against rookie QB's and RB's (recently dallas last year) we shouldn't look past anyone - but I think O'Brien is a terrible HC and while their defense is very good, I'm not convinced yet about the offense. Could be a trap game for sure, but hopefully we are ready to play.
2014 MNF EXEC CHAMPION!!!
I think it's odd that folks are not convinced that the Texans have a good offense and that Alex Smith is not a legit QB. Watson and Smith are currently tied for the most passing TD's with 15 each, which is 2 more than Brady and Rodgers, who each have 13 TD passes this year. In the past 4 games, the Texans have scored 33, 34, 57, and 33 points. Houston is not lead by it's defense anymore. J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus are both on I.R. and Brian Cushing is suspended for PED's again.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
