HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!
It's al-ight.....but it no BUSTWHEAT (tm).
In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:
TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

Did you also invent the name Steely McDeam?
I wasn't hired for my disposition.
When they created the mascot, there was a contest to name him. I submitted "Iron Will" which has an obvious motivational aspect to it, plus a connection to the steel industry, and the mascot seemed to share a similar jawline with our coach at that time, William Cowher. Steely McBeam is such an awful name.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
I can't remember what I submitted, but I had 100 names better than Steely McBeam imho. I think Iron Will was one of them on my list. Or it might have been Steel Will. But I remember thinking he looked like Cowher and was almost 100% sure they would have named him Will for the double entendre.
