Question for those who wanted olb, cb, cb in the first 3

If the draft went that way, do you still think that you hold NE to under 30 pts. Anytime soon?

I think we may have seen a DB in the same frame as Hogan as he streaked all by his lonesome down the field for a td.

Maybe not this year but hopefully the following year or the year after.
Better than waiting another 4 or 5 yrs before we try to replace the weakest links on the team.

I wanted a S in the third, but I'm happy with what we have. JuJu helps an area of the team that has a lot of question marks. If Wilson or Tabor would have been there, that's who I draft, but Cam in the 3rd was a good pick

OK, so long time lurker (back to the Trib days) but first time posting....

Is anybody else somewhat excited about the 5th round corner we got? 6'3", 4.45. Great measurables, converted WR so needs to learn the position, supposed to be another high character guy (a theme in this years draft) and in a position of need. Could be a winner. Could be an early cut, but I am intrigued. As much as I am confused by the overall draft. Hell, the long snapper is the only one I see starting in the very near future!

I'm a little disappointed with how the draft played out ... I thought Josh Jones or Awukie were ours but they both went the 2 picks prior to us. JuJu was obviously the best pick for us at that point.

So if NE , Brady in particular start his decline then you have built your team for one team only, instead of improving the team as a whole. In two years MB will either be out of the league but definitely not on ours.

i wasn't one of them, but, i did wanted defense in the first 3. Wouldn't have been opposed to an ILB... IMO, VW is an "average" NFL Starter.

having said that, since they took a WR, do you think this rookie WR is going to be the difference in "outscoring" NE?
