Standing on the sidelines in sweats does nothing for the better of the team. Maybe next year if this trend continues we can finally all agree that he is a wet paper bag

I agree, if he becomes Bob Sanders. He isn't Bob Sanders yet. The team really should try and negotiate with him as soon as they can in terms of trying to pay him now. We don't need to lock Shazier up for the long haul; he isn't going to make it past 30. They should sign him now (also while he's injured; less bargaining) pay him nicely now, which he's probably worth. Then, when he becomes really injury prone around 28-29, we can get rid of him at the end of that contract. You don't want to do another Woodley.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.
I lost a bet about Najee gaining 1300 yards.
"Our head coach has failed to win a playoff game for seven years in a row. His game day strategy, culture of divas, in game decisions, clock management, player evaluation, hires, and affinity with sub par starters at RB, P, and OL are holding the Steelers back. That standard remains the standard"
Ryan Shazier says MCL sprain is “feeling a lot better”

Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier confirmed he was dealing with another MCL sprain, but also said he was hoping for a quicker return than the last time he had this injury.
Shazier injured his knee in the opener, came back to play the following week, but aggravated it in Week Three. He missed last week’s game against the Jets, and missed four games with a similar injury in 2014.
“It’s definitely feeling a lot better than two to three weeks ago,” Shazier said, via Joe Rutter of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “I’m doing everything I can to make sure I have everything covered.”
The Steelers have two more games before their bye week, but Shazier isn’t ruling out a return before their Nov. 6 game at Baltimore.
“When you’re a player, and you’ve been going through a lot, it’s hard for anybody to sit out,” Shazier said. “I feel like I was ready to go, and then it happened. When we played Cincinnati, I was fine. This is a tough game, and things happen.”
“When you miss a lot of time, you hear stuff from people. I pride myself in being a competitor. I just want to be out there every time I can.”
Shazier has missed 13 of a possible 37 career games because of injuries, so he should be used to hearing some degree of it.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I see Gronk and Bennett having career days against the secondary and backers without Shazier, even with him, unfortunately. And, as we know, if Brady is killing you with something he isn't getting off the gas pedal until you stop it. I don't like the way this one plays out. Ben and the offense will have to score 30 plus IMO.
