I always liked having to work the roster around bye weeks with the IDP settings we had used. Made me feel more like a GM up against it to make some tough decisions that were best for my team that week, but also for the season.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
Im in, and will happily keep gurley for a 5th round pick
Change of plans --- I was asked by the department chair to pick up another class today that I haven't taught in quite some time and I no longer think I will have time to be commissioner, too much prep work to do in the next two weeks.
Would anyone else be interested in taking over?
I suppose that I can take over...I didn't respond sooner because the email address attached to my Yahoo account was a dead one that I am unable to access anymore, and I was having all kinds of issues trying to change it to a new e-mail address. I'm still not the best at checking e-mails, though. If folks have commissioner related issues they need me to address, it probably would be best to just post them on this thread (or send me a PM here), or possibly as message on our Yahoo league page. Thanks.
I'll likely just leave the rules the way that you changed them last week. I will move the draft a bit earlier, since I leave for vacation on Monday, 8/29/16. Does the evening of Sunday, 8/28/16 work for everyone?
We also still need one more player to fill D Rock's vacated slot. The new player can retain one of his players from last season as a keeper if they so choose, or just throw them all back and start completely fresh if they prefer.

I like keeping the IDPs the same as they've been. I'm cool with the draft time. I'll look into whether or not I want to keep anyone from last year.
Thanks for running the league for so long, D Rock, and thanks for taking over Ruthless!
The keeper math makes my head hurt. What round would it cost for me to keep Gostkowski? I picked him in round 8 last year (lol) but he's projected round 20.
If you picked him last year higher than he is currently ranked, you have to give up same round as last year. The other math only comes up when he's currently ranked BETTER than the pick used to obtain him last year.
Thanks, Dr Calc. I will not have any keepers this year.
