Statement By Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert on Martavis Bryant
"We are very disappointed that Martavis Bryant has put himself in this current situation of being suspended by the League. He is at a crossroads of his professional life, and he needs to understand significant changes need to occur in his personal life if he wants to regain his career as a Pittsburgh Steeler. We are hopeful that Martavis will take the necessary steps to develop the discipline in his personal life to become a successful player and a good teammate."

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
I realize that it is not a lot money in the grand scheme of things, but since Martavis has now officially been suspended for a year without pay, I'm assuming that we get back his $709,805 cap number for 2016, right?

The Pittsburgh Steelers might not be done with Martavis Bryant, but this isn't a team that wants to babysit him for much longer.
General manager Kevin Colbert on Monday issued a statement that got straight to the core of things:
"We are very disappointed that Martavis Bryant has put himself in this current situation of being suspended by the League. He is at a crossroads of his professional life, and he needs to understand significant changes need to occur in his personal life if he wants to regain his career as a Pittsburgh Steeler. There's only so much a team can say in this situation. The team probably won't cut him right now. They can place him on reserve/suspended for 2016, and they'll own his rookie-deal rights for two years after that. When it comes to the on-field product, Bryant is cheap ($600,000 salary) and talented (17 touchdowns in 23 games including playoffs). It still makes sense to keep him, at least for now.
But Colbert is making clear Bryant will get one last life raft. Key word here: Regain. Sounds like Bryant has things to prove just for the chance to earn back a spot.
The earliest Bryant can present himself to the Steelers is 2017. The league mandates that a player can't apply for reinstatement until the final 60 days from when the suspension was issued.
Bryant can turn the corner on defenders, but this is one situation he can't outrun without the proper adjustments.

For some people it is, unfortunately, they're the ones we typically hear about on the news or read about on the internet. Robert Fulgham wrote a book entitled 'Everything I needed to know I learned in Kindergarten', it takes about an hour and half to read, but provides enough wisdom to be successful in life, these guys should read the book.

I lost a bet about Najee gaining 1300 yards.
"Our head coach has failed to win a playoff game for seven years in a row. His game day strategy, culture of divas, in game decisions, clock management, player evaluation, hires, and affinity with sub par starters at RB, P, and OL are holding the Steelers back. That standard remains the standard"
