This is actually pretty good news. I don't think the team would put out false hope. You can usually look at a knee post ACL injury and know due to the immediate swelling and joint instability. Honestly, it appeared to me to be a hit that would have put the most strain on the MCL. I instantly thought oh no that's a MCL tear. But, it's Big Ben and if anyone just sprained a knee after a hit like that it would be Ben.

What's the usual ... MRI Monday, official results released to slobs like us on Tuesday?

SAS, when do you think the results should be made public to "slobs like us"? Really, does it matter that we get the results Tuesday morning instead of Monday?

Funny, I told my son that the hit should have been deemed illegal, but no mention of it on the broadcast. I was wondering if the Brady rule had changed.

That being said, I don't think that it was intent to injure, nor was it dirty. It is not worthy of any further discipline...but it was technically illegal.

Adam Schefter reporting source says it's a minimum of 4 weeks that Ben will be out.
