DeCastro seemed to have his hands full with someone as well and that was causing issues.

Now the onus of protection moves from Beachum to Gilbert.

Forgot about that. I also can't remember the Steelers ever having a left-handed QB play in a regular season game.

That's why Gilbert becomes vital, he's protecting Vick's blind side.

And doesn't Dumervil rush from that side? Or did he move over to the other side when Suggs went down?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

One big problem I noticed when Vick came into the game ... he would take the snap from center and 10 guys would start to move. Vick seemed hesitate for a beat before he would move. Once on a running play I thought Foster was going to run Vick over when he pulled. Instead he stopped until Vick got out of the way. Needless to say that play lost yardage.

I hope with a couple days of practicing with the first stringers Vick will look like a QB again because he certainly didn't look like one against the Rams.
