so if Shane Ray were now still available at #22, would you select him?

Ray in round 1, then CB's in rounds 2 and 4.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

To be fair, there may only be 2 first round CBs in the draft...

    When did they go?

I figured it might throw some light on the draft process to find out when players that visited were drafted if they were available in their projected rounds.

    By Projected Round
    # Name POS School H/W Date Round

    1 Breshad Perriman WR Central Flordia 6-2 212 4/10/2015 1
Round 1, Pick 26, Overall Pick 26 by Ravens

    2 Randy Gregory OLB Nebraska 6-5 235 4/16/2015 1
Round 2, Pick 28, Overall Pick 60 by Cowboys

    3 Landon Collins S Alabama 6-0 228 4/22/2015 1
Round 2, Pick 1, Overall Pick 33 by Giants

    4 Jaelen Strong WR Arizona State 6-2 217 4/17/2015 1-2

    5 Eli Harold OLB Virginia 6-3 247 4/8/2015 1-2

    6 Marcus Peters CB Washington 6-0 197 4/9/2015 1-2
Round 1, Pick 18, Overall Pick 18 by Chiefs

    7 Eric Rowe CB Utah 6-1 205 4/21/2015 1-2
Round 2, Pick 15, Overall Pick 47 by Eagles

    8 Nate Orchard OLB Utah 6-3 250 4/8/2015 2
Round 2, Pick 19, Overall Pick 51 by Browns

    9 Preston Smith OLB Miss State 6-5 271 4/22/2015 2
Round 2, Pick 6, Overall Pick 38 by Redskins

    10 Sammie Coates WR Auburn 6-1 212 4/13/2015 2
Round 3, Pick 23, Overall Pick 87 by Steelers

    11 Xavier Cooper DE Washington State 6-3 293 4/14/1945 2-3
Round 3, Pick 32, Overall Pick 96 by Browns

    12 Alex Carter CB Stanford 6-0 196 4/9/2015 3
Round 3, Pick 16, Overall Pick 80 by Lions

    13 Davis Tull OLB Tenn Chattanooga 6-2 246 4/22/2015 3-4
Round 5, Pick 12, Overall Pick 148 by Saints

    14 Jeffrey Heuerman TE OSU 6-5 254 4/14/2015 3-4
Round 3, Pick 28, Overall Pick 92 Broncos

    15 Doran Grant CB Ohio State 5-10 200 4/21/2015 3-4
Round 4, Pick 22, Overall Pick 121 by Steelers

    16 Steven Nelson CB Oregon State 5-10 197 4/20/2015 3-4
Round 3, Pick 34, Overall Pick 98 by Chiefs

    17 Senquez Golson CB Mississippi 5-9 176 4/8/2015 4
Round 2, Pick 24, Overall Pick 56 by Steelers

Now this has nothing to do with good pick bad pick etc; Simply some observations on what happened. For example--

    1. Heuerman was taken 92. He was there. Not taken. For me good. I was hoping for Jesse James.

    2. Harold went at 79. He was being discussed as a rd1 pick at times. He was unfortunately not there at 87 but I did not think he would be taken if he was. Anyway certainly not taken at 22 or 56. Another good for me.

--- There are probably plenty other speculations there. Do you see any?

The rest of these lower round picks were little discussed on the board. Where they went might be of interest to some who used them in mocks.

    19 Darryl Roberts CB Marshall 5-11 187 4/20/2015 5
    20 Wes Saxton TE South Alabama 6-3 248 4/10/2015 5-6
    21 Kyle Emanuel OLB North Dakota State 6-3 255 4/21/2015 6
    22 CJ Uzomah TE Auburn 6-6 262 4/8/2015 6-7
    23 Quinton Spain G WVU 6-4 330 4/13/2015 7
    24 Dexter McDonald CB Kansas 6-1 203 4/22/2015 7-FA

A couple things that no one commented on regarding the draft that surprised me were--

    1. How much lower most of the OLB/DE types were drafted than they were projected==

    2. Not taking X. Cooper in the 3rd. I tried a mock this year and took him. I figured Draftnut who tipped me off about this player would wonder about that pass.

    3. Anyone else wonder if they take Markus Peters if he was there? He was my choice for #1 in the mock.

    4. I was also wondering if there ever are any threads analyzing and discussing [grading??] the poster's mock drafts?

Anyhow calmkiller, I did notice a bunch of the visitors got drafted again. I did not count them but it seemed like a lot.
