I think the DL itself is "set", but I would not be surprised to see a Preston Smith type DE added- a package DE/DT that comes on in the Dime/Nickle to better increase the pass rush. Football is more about package football than ever before. A guy that sees the field for 30-40% of snaps purely as a pass rush specialist is a valuable player. Think Parnell McPhee.
I'd take Preston Smith in Round 2 if he available.

Steelers met with Clive Walford, TE today at Miami Hurricane's pro day today. Tomlin and Colbert. Would love to get Walford in the second!

Yup yup. As Hurricane TE's go, he may not be Jimmy Graham, but he is a throwback TE like we like...a blocker first instead of just a bigger wideout type. He'd be great as Heath's understudy and heir apparent. A better fit for what we look for from our TE's than past prospects like Ebron and Eifert who got endless threads devoted to them in the past.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
Agreed. He's probably better value to Draft Round too. A situational DE that can also play some 'regular snaps' I think is great value without taking time away from Heyward or Tuitt who the Steelers need to stick with given the time/money/draft choice investment in the 2. But as part of a 3-man DL on nickle & dime sets...that'd be pretty handy.

I can't see getting a defensive end as a day one or day two need...more like a 6th or 7th round pick now with Geathers re-signed..hopefully getting rid of Cam Thomas.

That depends on the type of DE role you want them to play. I'm suggesting a guy that takes a NT off the field and plays a pure pass rushing type role only on certain packages. Package football IS football now. If the 3rd round choice in 2015 plays 30% of snaps situationally, that's a pretty good return. These last few years the OLB's have not been generating enough pass rush. If there are better ways of getting to the QB, I'm all for it, because it will mask the DB's faults a bit better.
