munchak is supposedly a good in hire.

my issue is the situational play calling. we have no killer instinct and refuse to go downfield or throw jump balls to big wr's in a pass happy nfl.

Who do you want to throw jump balls to? Bryant? Brown?

THat's idiotic. The players didnt execute. The OC fscked up. The DC fsked up. The turf was soft, and the crowd didn't support us. And, yeah, its fall.

What has any of this to do with Tomlin. Place the blame where it belongs people!

sure.. anyone is better than what we have tried thus far. it's not like you have players on the roster who have proven they can get it done.

    blame can go all around...

but lets not act like these hires were all tomlin. DL was kept and Haley was hand picked IMO.

Nobody's above blame here. THere's a reason we have an OC, a DC and an HC. But a lot is on the HC.
Belichik doesn't seem to care who his coordinators are. Heck, he doesn't even need great players. He went 11-5 the year Brady was out, and he has had WRs playing corner and won SBs.

Our HC isn't cutting it by himself. He's unable to take the DC to task in *spite* of repeated failure. Im not sure he's even able to deal with the OC. So we have Larry, Curly and Moe running this team.

    Great.

    Great.
c'mon... the week before the Bengals win everyone was asking if the Pats were done.

Regardless... is it really fair to compare Tomlin to Billicheat? I have no problem admitting Billicheat is better than Tomlin. He is better than 99% of the coaches in the nfl.

so why keep tomlin if he has nothing to do with the success or failure of the team?
