Perhaps. Or, perhaps, not...it remains to be seen...

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
This year or the past?
Well, here's the thing about keeping coaches for long periods of time. Since 1969 there have been a few constants with the Steelers as an organization and during that time they have won the most Super Bowls and I believe are the wining-est franchise in the NFL. Now, maybe this model doesn't work any longer, but I don't think that a 2-3 year sample is enough to give up on the model.
1) Build through the draft, regardless of draft success or failure
2) Keep the coach consistent for as long he's willing to keep the job
3) Make your own free agents a priority over other team's free agents
4) Patience in developing players
The hype surrounding DeCastro and Jones is playing a big part in a fans perspective of what is happening. We are expecting these two guys to be All-world because of the hype that accompanied them in the draft and the fact that every mediot felt like the Steelers got great players and great value as well. That hasn't happened yet, so fans believe the players are great and the coaches must not know what they're doing, otherwise, these two would already be great.
Maybe the team needs a new perspective on defense and/or offense I don't know. I don't see a reason to change what has been successful through multiple decades and many rule changes.
