What a terrible signing for nothing more than an above average to good QB.

The price to resign Ben is going through the roof based on some of the recent QB contracts!!!!!!!!!

Cutler, Flacco and Dalton what the "H"-"E" double toothpicks is going on? About 19 million per year are you kidding me? I'm sure 40 million at least is guaranteed; I'm really hoping the Bengals start to suck now, it will serve them right.

Roethlisberger is going to need $22mil to $25 mil a year...probaly 6 years $150 million

The market is insane since 2008, he signed 8 years $102 million...a lowly $12.75 million per year lol

It's always the same: Whatever the newest QB contract is, we will say it's insane. And in 2 years, whatever we thought was insane will be considered peanuts and the NEW contracts will now be insane. The first QB to make 1 million was considered crazy. Then 10 mill. Then 20. Eventually 30, and so on. I don't even raise an eyebrow. The ones that are somewhat deserving of a raised eyebrow are when questionable talent gets paid loco $. Flacco. This one. Romo, especially coming off a bad back. Jones is going to regret that deal the rest of his life, as he could have just stayed pat and draft Manziel. First, they said they weren't even considering drafting him, whatsoever; now, Jones comes out and says he may regret not drafting him forever, and yet, Johnny hasn't even played in a preseason game and Jones is already saying that.

NFL has money to burn... the amount of money they are giving average QB's IS insane.

The next person to be looking for a job from Cincinnati will be Marvin Lewis. He'll be the scape goat when Dalton doesn't win a playoff game this year and that may be because the Bengals don't make the playoffs to actually play in one to lose.
