A real brouhaha in Cleveland today after this surfaced:

And then there was this capper:
"They call Jersey the armpit of America? Cleveland's the anus of America, it's the booty ... and the little fans are little hemorrhoids all around the edge."

Browns QB Johnny Manziel sued for sexual harrassment

By Neal Coolong on May 23 2014

Plaintiff Samantha Schacher claims Manziel has been sending naked pictures of himself along with graphic text messages since Feb. 14, 2013.

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel was sued by a woman who claims she is "scared to death" over Manziel's constant harassment, including naked photographs and descriptive text messages.

The plaintiff, Samantha Schacher, is seeking $25 million from Manziel because,"Defendant Manziel has been sexually harassing me since Valentine's Day 2013 ... sending me naked selfies of himself showing me his penis," according to the suit.

The full court document can be read here, much of it is in descriptively graphic detail.

It's a legitimate lawsuit, but whether there is any substance behind it is a different story. It would seem, on the surface, Manziel and the Browns won't comment in any way on the matter. Schacher doesn't have a lawyer representing her, which sounds off warning bells as to the legitimacy of her claims.

"Johnny Football" is one of the most polarizing figures in all of sports. After a highly successful and well-documented career at Texas A&M, Manziel was the most talked about prospect of the 2014 NFL Draft. He was taken by Cleveland with the 22nd overall pick.

    Manziel may sue lawsuit prankster

Posted by Mike Florio on May 23, 2014

Whoever filed the fake lawsuit against Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel may be getting sued.

The woman named as the plaintiff in the lawsuit, HLN contributor Samantha Schacher, said via Twitter that the civil complaint filed in a Florida federal court is indeed a hoax. She claims that the person who filed the lawsuit is named Jonathan Lee Riches, who has a history of filing lawsuits. To say the least.

Riches, who surely has none, now may be on the receiving end of a lawsuit from Manziel. Via USA Today, agent Erik Burkhardt said that litigation is possible.

“We absolutely will protect our client to the fullest extent of the law,” Burkhardt said.

The better move at this point would be to do nothing. Even though a small percentage of the audience will believe the lawsuit is real no matter what anyone says — and an even larger slice of Bengals, Steelers, and/or Ravens fans will incorporate terms from the filing into their taunts of Manziel — most reasonable people realize that it’s a hoax. Doing something about it will only keep the thing alive even longer.

They need to do a new Cleveland Tourism video, replacing "Our Economy's Based On LeBron James" to Johnny Football.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

    Cemetery decries fan's actions

    Updated: July 23, 2014
    By Jamison Hensley | ESPN.com

A Cleveland Browns fan posted a video on YouTube showing himself urinating beside Art Modell's grave in Pikesville, Maryland.

The unidentified man in the video, titled "Browns Fan 'Pays Respects' to Modell," arrives at the gravesite dressed in a Baltimore Ravens Ed Reed jersey. He then pulls it off to reveal a Browns Lyle Alzado No. 77 jersey and apparently urinates on Modell's grave out of the bottom of his pants leg using a catheter.

Art Modell was celebrated in Baltimore when he moved his team there in 1996, but he's still hated by many fans in Cleveland.

Afterward, he speaks to the camera:

"You know, Art, when you ... tried to kill the Cleveland Brownie, you didn't do so good, the Browns fans wouldn't let you, you piece of s---," he says. "I'm in rat land, and I'm going to use the words you used a few years ago.

"As far as pissing on your grave, I had no choice."

When Modell moved the team to Baltimore in 1996, he said he had "no choice."

The video has received more than 10,000 hits. A spokeswoman for the Druid Ridge Cemetery told The Baltimore Sun that the Browns fan's decision to urinate beside Modell's grave was "disappointing and disrespectful." Police did not immediately respond to the paper on the situation and its legality.

    Modell died in 2012.

    JUL 29, 2014
    BALTIMORE —

Maryland authorities said Tuesday they will charge a man with disorderly conduct in a cemetery for allegedly urinating on the grave of former Baltimore Ravens owner Art Modell.
The man, who so far has been identified only as a Cleveland Browns fan, could face up to two years in jail and a $500 fine. He posted a video of the incident to YouTube this month.
''Everyone who has buried a loved one has the right to believe that their final resting place will be treated with respect,'' Baltimore County State's Attorney Scott Shellenberger said in a written statement. ''Bringing charges against this individual should act as a deterrent to others and assure the rest of us that no matter who you are, indecencies will not be committed against your final resting place.''
Shellenberger said the man will not be identified until charges are filed and served.
Art Modell died in 2012 at the age of 87. He spent 43 years as an NFL owner, overseeing the Browns from 1961 until he moved the team to Baltimore in 1996 to become the Ravens. Modell served as league president from 1967-69, helped finalize the first collective bargaining agreement with the players in 1968 and was the point man for the NFL's lucrative contracts with television networks.

Modell and his wife, Patricia, are buried at Druid Ridge Cemetery in Baltimore.
David Modell, Art Modell's son, said the family is thankful for the efforts of Baltimore County police and the decision by the state's attorney to file charges.
''We also agree with the state's attorney's office that everyone who has buried a loved one has the right to know that the final resting place will not be defiled,'' said Modell, who served as president and chief operating officer of the Ravens while Art ran the team. ''We are a country of laws. Just because you're angry, that doesn't mean the laws no longer apply to you.''
