Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

    Ruthless!!!!!
Ive wasted WAY to much time on that stupid topic for you to infect this thread with that foolishness.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

    TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

Yes, and they're not the only Florida team that will prosper. I predict Miami will go all the way to the World Series, but get swept by the Cubs.

Troy was playing really well. I think he created the only turnover we had in the first 5-6 weeks of the season!

One thing you guys gotta realize is how lackluster our defense was, and how that affects guys play. We were among the slowest defenses in football last year. When guys are slow... holes, cushions, space get bigger. And when space gets BIGGER, guess what--it is much easier for the offense. When an offensive player has a two-way go (because of more SPACE), YOU HAVE TO GUESS. Think about it.

You put Troy in Seattle's D in Kam Chancellor's spot, and he would be a star again. Because no one has room to breathe against that D.

The DB's play is always directly effected by the play of the 7 guys in front of them.

Was Troy great? Hard to tell, seeing as how at least 5 of the front 7 were nowhere near great.

Who knows what the scores might have been without Troy?

If you cannot sack the QB, if you cannot collapse the pocket, if you cannot stop the run, find a SS that plays 'great'. Go on, I double dare you..
The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?

    Light up the darkness.
