The NFL is a corporate environment. In such an environment, individualism is minimized at almost all cost. It is what people complain about when (e.g.) they talk about the old days in Vegas when "they knew you by name" in the casinos, etc. It is not about flavor, diversity, etc. It is only about the bottom line: money.

If the majority felt the opposite way, this dude still would be playing. If you said what he said in the 1950's, he might be applauded. If Don Sterling said what he said in the 50's, he'd be patted on the back. But whether you agree or not, this is now. If you want, you can say that this guy was suspended not for making homophobic remarks. He was suspended for being a moron and screwing up at doing his job (personal conduct policy?)

Democrats are for more government involvement and Republicans are for less. This is true. But, both are deeply parties current approaches are flawed and this two party rhetoric folks want to engage in is short sighted, stagnating and juvenile.

And, calling Obama a totalitarian or facist or nazi is simply channeling your inner Rush Limbaugh (who is a nut bar and a half). Why would Obama want such a government? People with term limits have no long term control. It simply doesn't follow. Besides, the administration can champion legislation. But, it goes nowhere without Congress. And if the people don't like it, Congress will eventual do away with it or find another way.

I actually think Dem and Pubs want the same amount of government just in different places.

Except for one little thing my friend...Jones NEVER tweeted a Homophobic remark. All he tweeted was the word " Horrible ":when asked about the constant showing of affection between the two of them. in case you missed it, Jones Immediately replied it had nothing to do that they were both men. He tweeted to his friend that he would think it was equally horrible if it were a Man and a woman. So where exactly is the Homophobic remark that you are spewing about ?

About the taped phone call..this is not a criminal case,so that doesn't apply,plus it has been reported that Sterling told her to record him because he "forgets things" As far as maling him sell the team....yes they can. The Clippers are a franchise under the NBA umbrella,just as McDonalds restaurants are under their corporation.There are guide lines that you have to follow. You can't put your own food items in a McDonalds you own,or paint the building purple. They make the rules,you break them,you can lose your business.

I believe that some people are born as homosexuals. Some people are born as hermaphordites, with different personalities, or any number of characteristics that make people different. I don't believe people should be persecuted because of race, sexuality, ect.
