If Bryant were AJ Green coming out of college, he would have been the first WR off the board...
As a 4th round pick, he has the athleticism to develop into a credible threat...perhaps not at Green's level, but that will be just fine with me...
AJ Green was at a completely different level coming into the draft compared to Bryant. However, if there is anyone to model your game after, AJ Green would be high on anyone's list.
The good thing is we dont need him to be AJ Green
I dont think anyone is arguing that?
His quickness is there. They didnt really do much real route running at Clemson though. Thats going to be a work in progress. The clemson offense revoled around short passes and screens to Watkins and finding Bryant deep down the field when coverage broke down. It was hardly an offense with much complex structure, andd his route running will without a doubt need to be worked on but the two things that are good about him are his quickness/explosion and his ability to high point.
I think he probably wont dress for more games than he plays in as a rookie, but thats just me.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
Its actually an interesting comparison from a physical standpoint. Same exact height and weight.
Bryant had the better 40, short shuttle, vertical
Green had the better arm length, 3 cone, and most important stat...production
Same bench, same broad jump +/- 2
Bryant is insanely raw, while green was insanely polished. I still think the best (ceiling) comparison for him is Chris Henry, another bengal...which would be a great return on a 4th round pick.
For as much as i didnt like the pick, it sure would be nice to land a gem in the 4th round like a chris henry or brandon marshall
Alex Kozora @Alex_Kozora:
Justin Brown is clearly ahead of Heyward-Bey. 85 with camp bodies.
Justin Brown with an encouraging practice. Soft hands, has big catch radius.

Lovin' the positives from camp regarding JB.
We all know AB is gonna his usual sick self. Stiff competition for the #2WR between Moore, Brown and Wheaton.
When the cream rises to the top, this team will be quite deep at the WR position. They are deep because the talent is not only there, but also at the QB spot. That is a dangerous combination.
With the addition of Munchak and the talent that surrounds that O-line, this team is a ticking time bomb. And there are sticks of dynamite all over the place.
Seriously.
Potentially loaded.
