Do you want this guy in the fourth? I don't. Undisciplined, immature, poor technique, I don't think that he makes the roster...Weaknesses
Is more thinly built in the lower body. Inconsistent technician. Has a tendency to play tall. Down-to-down effort lacks consistency. Lacks discipline on and off the field and has had to be managed closely since he arrived on campus. Needs to learn what it means to be a pro. Plays in spurts and is too much a of flash player -- does not consistently dominate like he could. Is still immature and finding his way -- too much of a follower.
By the way, that is from the scouting report on Jadaveon Clowney.
This is a great draft pick.
He's not the most consistent guy, but when he does catch the ball, he has a tendency to make big plays and take it to the house. He may have only 61 catches, but 13 of them were touchdowns and he was averaging 22.2 yards per catch. His combination of size and speed is rare, so this is certainly a worthy risk/reward selection in round 4 (I believe Ike Taylor was suggesting last month that we take Bryant in round 2). It's understandable that he did not have much production until this season, because before that he was working behind a couple of 1st round picks in Sammy Watkins and DeAndre Hopkins. I wouldn't be surprised if we make back-to-back CB picks in the 5th round now.
Similar in size and intelligence, Shazier has an enormous advantage in speed. His 4.38-second time in the 40-yard dash was almost unheard of at the position, whereas Mosley's 4.68 was similar to a three-down inside linebacker such as Nick Barnett, who ran 4.71 at the exact same size before joining the Packers as their first-round selection in 2003.
Furthermore, Shazier beat Mosley in the vertical jump (42 inches to 35), the broad jump (10-10 to 9-10) and reps on the bench press (25 to 15).
"Shazier is the most explosive guy in the draft," a third NFC personnel man said. "Rare explosive. Tough as hell. Plays hard. Fastest guy on the field.
Look, Sick Beats is just P!SSED cause the Steelers took Shazier over HIS guy Mosley. Which based on Mosley Injuries and durability concerns WAS the correct Choice. And EVERY Scout agrees, The Above was a statement from Bill Polian on Shazier and Mosley.
As for our 2nd rounder....Sick Beats...PLEASE, find ONE, just one scouting service that didn't have Tuitt as a top-30 guy ? And we got him at 46. Now, I KNOW it wasn't Nix, the Fat Boy you wanted. But that does NOT make him a Bad choice.
And Archer, the 2 weeks before the draft was maybe the drafts most fastest climber. Several teams had Archer in for Interviews. And many of the top scouting services had Archer as a top-100 pick. So how is he according to you, a player in the 160-175 area...as you stated ?
Bottom line Sick Beats, you have a right to state your personal Opinion. But please, stop stating outright LIES about the Players, and where they were ranked. Cause you just make yourself look even Dumber then you are.
