    Shark vs. Nix

The Texans ultimately used what was our 3rd round pick that we traded last year for Shark. We will see who becomes the better NFL player: Shark or Nix.

Yeah, who knows who we would have taken. It's just interesting that Nix happened to be taken with that pick.

Didn't care for the Shamarko trade last year and like it less this year after watching him stand on the sideline and not having mid Round 3 pick
1.25 DT Vernon Butler, La Tech, 6’4” 323
    2.58 CB Artie Burns, Miami, 5’11” 189
3.89 OLB, Alex McCalister, Florida, 6’6” 240-Jarvis Jones’ replacement
4.123 S Jayron Kearse, Clemson, 6’4 216-hybrid type we could use in 3-3-5 defense
6.220 OT Stephane Nembot, 6’7” 322-raw talent with ton of upside
    7.229 CB Brian Poole, Florida, 5’10” 210
7.246 WR/KR Ed Eagan, Northwestern State, 5’ 10” 185-need WR depth and returner

He was playing, and then he got hurt. Not the first guy in the world to lose his job to injury.

Corner and Wide receiver have become our biggest needs now. 2 corners minimum, 1 wide receiver minimum.

For the record, I agree. Is it possible that the team doesn't see it that way? Could they be fine with what they have on the roster now? I'm throwing it out there because I'm really beginning to wonder.
