    Yea but Shazier was not on a national championship team and he went to the hated THE OSU.

    forge whatever stats you like to make your cape fly, the bottom line is the better player went to the ravens. pitts as usual picked the dud of the draft. its a disconconcertinging cirlcle. but one that has proven its worth. deal.

    Better how? Can you quantify that? Maybe better liked by some fans, but that is about it.

    I agree. Mosley hands down is the more NFL ready LBr. With that said, Shazier was drafted for his upside....he has a much higher ceiling.

    Yeah, it's why I'm not crazy about the Shazier pick. He is all upside at this point...big load of potential. He isn't the typical Steeler solid first rounder.

    Who was the last Alabama LB that has been successful in the NFL. Problem with some teams that are so stacked with talent like Alabama is I often wonder how are they really developing as players or are they just surrounded by so much talent they look good no matter what. I have the same opinion of USC QBs.

    It's a valid argument.... but there has been some highly regarding LBs from OSU that have not exactly set the league on fire.
