That trades down a bunch of times and just loads up on picks?

We just drop 1 spot, then 2, then another 2, and another...

And before you know it we have a crap ton of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounders this year and next.

Leave the word "crap" out of the statement, and I'm down with it. Don't need any more "crap" in our draft picks.

I frankly don't want to be that team. I'm not expecting any Pro-Bowlers, but at the same time some good solid starters and dependable depth at a few positions seems reasonable.

I couldn't agree more! AND this is the draft to do it. The more picks in this draft, the more chances to hit!!!

because its hard to entertain trade offers when you sprint to the podium as soon as you are on the clock to turn in your selection

It's not a cure-all. Jerry Jones does it a lot and gets mostly crap. The Pats do it a lot of have tons of misses.

I want more hits than misses...obviously a normal fan (all the way up to the owner of a team) wants that. However...this draft is STACKED but have to be smart.
