Why Can't We Be That Team

That trades down a bunch of times and just loads up on picks?

We just drop 1 spot, then 2, then another 2, and another...

And before you know it we have a crap ton of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounders this year and next.

Leave the word "crap" out of the statement, and I'm down with it. Don't need any more "crap" in our draft picks.
    Final Mock

    2a. Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida
    2b. Tyus Bowser, OLB, Houston
    3a. Sidney Jones, CB, Washington
    3b. Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma
    3c. Adam Shaheen, TE, Ashland
    4. John Johnson, S, Boston College
    5. Kenny Golladay, WR, N. Illinois
    6. Collin Buchanan, G, Miami (OH)
    7. Samson Ekubam, LB, Eastern Washington
UDFA -- Javancy Jones, LB, Jackson State

I frankly don't want to be that team. I'm not expecting any Pro-Bowlers, but at the same time some good solid starters and dependable depth at a few positions seems reasonable.

I couldn't agree more! AND this is the draft to do it. The more picks in this draft, the more chances to hit!!!
2 scenarios. One in which Mahommes is available to us at 1/30 (hoping but not likely) and the second in which he is not.

    1) Pat Mahommes-QB-TT 1) Tak McKinley-OLB-UCLA
    2) Jordan Willis-OLB-K.St. 2) Fabian Moreau-DB-UCLA
    3) Jalen Myrick-CB-Minn
    3) Nate Peterman-QB-Pitt
    3) Samaje Perine-RB-OU
    4) George Kittle-TE-Iowa
    5) Rayshawn Jenkins-S-Miami
    6) Ejuan Price-OLB-Pitt
    7) Glen Antoine-DT-Idaho

    3b) Tanoh Kpassagnon DE

I hope that's exactly what happens since that would mean we are selecting a player we really wanted!

It's not a cure-all. Jerry Jones does it a lot and gets mostly crap. The Pats do it a lot of have tons of misses.

I want more hits than misses...obviously a normal fan (all the way up to the owner of a team) wants that. However...this draft is STACKED but have to be smart.
R1- DeShone Kizer, QB; Notre Dame
R2- Jordan Willis, OLB; Kansas State
R3- Gareon Conley, CB; Ohio State
    R3- Jake Butt, TE; Michigan
R4- Montae Nicholson, S; Michigan State
    R5- Jayon Brown, ILB; UCLA
    R6- Jaylen Myrick, CB; Minnesota
R7- Javancy Jones, OLB; Jackson State
