The Rams' biggest holes were in the secondary and along the o-line. They already double-dipped with 2 OL picks, outside (OT Greg Robinson) and inside (OG Joel Bitonio). Now they can double dip in the secondary. They already got their inside player (FS Ha Ha Clinton-Dix), so now they can look outside for the best available corner (a big bodied corner that another team in their division, Seattle, seems to prefer).

    The St. Louis Rams select:

    Utah CB Keith McGill

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Detroit already added a corner and a wideout in Justin Gilbert and Cody Latimer. They are strong up the middle of their d-line with Suh and Fairley, and they also drafted Ziggy Ansah high to man one of the end spots, but they other DE spot will be filled by journeymen-type players like Jason Jones and Darryl Tapp. They have not sufficiently been able to replace the loss of Cliff Avril, so they could use another young body to throw into their DE rotation.

    The Detroit Lions select:

    North Carolina DE Kareem Martin

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

It's 4:00pm right on the dot, so we are going to go ahead make our next pick.....

    The Baltimore Ravens Select:

FS/CB Marqueston Huff from Wyoming. 5'11" 196 lbs.

We had our eyes on this kid since Senior Bowl week. He really impressed us when he finally played against some top level competition. We also like the idea that he played CB before. However, he will be practicing as a safety while on the Ravens... Welcome aboard, Marq.

STRENGTHS: Looks the part of an NFL defensive back, showing a smooth build and solid, athletic frame. Helped his cause against top competition at the Senior Bowl, demonstrating light feet, efficient turning motion and fluid acceleration. Played cornerback most of his career before moving to free safety as a senior. Showed his versatility by playing both roles in Mobile. Made an impact on special teams at Wyoming and showed the same ability during practice.

    WEAKNESSES:
Tweener traits. Good quickness but gets caught up in his turning motion and doesn't play up to his reported timed speed. Tops out quickly. Inconsistent physicality as a tackler, flashing willingness to leave his feet for big collision. Slips blocks rather than fighting through blocks letting teammates do the dirty work. Doesn't break down on the move.
    Player Overview

A former cornerback who plays with quickness and impressive physicality for his size, Huff tallied 127 tackles from his new free safety position in 2013, averaging 10.6 per contest (11th in FBS).Huff opened eyes at the Senior Bowl in January. His intriguing athleticism to blanket receivers of all sizes, led to projecting him back to the corner at the next level. But his versatility and athleticism should earn him serious consideration starting in the middle rounds and zone-based teams will view him as a rare utility player.

So far, we've drafted a RT, an OLB/DE, a RB, and now a FS... all needs for this team... We have 1 pick left and will use that compensatory pick for another need.......

The New Jersey Jets are thrilled to find Dominique Easley still available at this point in the draft.

    Selection:

Dominique Easley - DT - Florida

STRENGTHS: Easley proved a quick-healer after a torn ACL in 2010, by coming back to start 11 games in 2012 and showed versatility, lining up at defensive end. Easley's tackle numbers dropped overall (26) but he finished with more big plays (8.5 for loss, team-leading four sacks), including 3.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage in the Sugar Bowl loss. Easley's explosiveness off the ball has been among the best in the conference. He also has quick, active hands to slap away blockers and is able to hold up well against the run at this level due to good core strength.WEAKNESSES: At under 290 pounds, Easley may be considered undersized to be an every-down interior DL at the next level. As with any player who has suffered an ACL tear, there may be questions about durability and long-term health.

Dallas has been leapfrogged twice, so it's time to make a pick for them so that we can move forward again on this last day of the board mock draft. The Cowboys addressed defense with their first two picks in FS Calvin Pryor and DE Scott Crichton. Their first year in the transition from the 3-4 to a 4-3 did not go well, so they need reinforcements up front. Crichton should take DeMarcus Ware's old spot opposite Anthony Spence, but they need help inside. They did sign former Bear DT Henry Melton in free agency, but he is coming off of a major injury, so depth at DT would be helpful. In fact, Dominique Easley probably would have been my pick if Jets did not leapfrog.

    The Dallas Cowboys select:

    LSU DT Ego Ferguson

The Miami Dolphins double-dipped for their offensive line in the first two rounds with Zack Martin and Ja'Wuan James. Now is time to address the defense. They lost safety Chris Clemens in free agency and replaced him with Louis Delmas, but Delmas is injury-prone, so depth is a necessity here. The guy that they are picking also just happens to have a brother who plays RB in the same division (Shane in New England).

    The Miami Dolphins select:

    Minnesota SS Brock Vereen.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Chicago was leapfrogged once by Cleveland, now I'll leapfrog them a second time with the Packers, then go back and make a pick for the Bears. The Packers have one defensive pick (LB Ryan Shazier) and one offensive pick (TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins) so far, so they can go either way with their 3rd pick. They did lose Greg Jennings and James Jones in back-to-back offseason, but still have Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb, plus are expecting a lot from Jarrett Boykin this year as well. They could add a Davante Adams as a BPA type of selection, but they just gave Rodgers another weapon to throw to in ASJ in the last round. Offense is not the problem in Green Bay, it's defense. They brought in Julius Peppers to finally provide a consistent pass rush opposite of Clay Matthews, but who knows how much Peppers has left in the tank. Depth wise, Nick Perry still hasn't shown much so far in his NFL career, so we could add to the depth of their pass-rushing OLB corps here.

    The Green Bay Packers select:

    Arizona State OLB Carl Bradford

Here is what Bradford will look like when he goes outside during his first Wisconsin snowstorm after moving up from Arizona.

Chicago addressed defense twice so far with DT Aaron Donald and FS Terrence Brooks. They could opt to go defense yet again. Although Charles Tillman was brought back, was teammates with Ike Taylor at Louisiana-LaFayette, which means that the Bears need to start look for an heir apparent/contingency plan for the post-Peanut days like we do now for the post-Ike days, since they are both now nearing the end of their NFL playing careers. Although Gator corners Marcus Roberson and Louchiez Purifoy tended to more highly regarded during their college careers, a 3rd Gator corner will be selected ahead of both of them. The Bears bet a versatile player who has experience at corner, safety, and nickel back, who also happens to be the brother of top 5 pick Sammy Watkins.

    The Chicago Bears select:

    Florida CB Jaylen Watkins
