    Post your Steelers Big Board

Post your big board...top 15, strictly talking for the steelers.

    1) Jadeveon Clowney
    2) Sammy Watkins
    3) Khalil Mack
    4) Jake Matthews
    5) Greg Robinson
    6) Mike Evans
    7) Justin Gilbert
    8 ) CJ Mosely
    9) Eric Ebron
    10) Darqueze Dennard
    11) Marqise Lee
    12) Anthony Barr
    13) Kelvin Benjamin
    14) Rashede Hageman
    15) Calvin Pryor

15 was actually pretty difficult, I left out the QBs, Haha, Lewan, and the UTs (Donald/Jerningan), and Nix just because I dont see the value at 15 over any of these players

So my guess is one of these guys are going to be a steeler come May

K, obviously you listed a bunch of guys we have zero chance of landing. So, I take it this is the top 15 players, period, that the Steelers would go for it they were there. Mack is screaming up the boards, he is almost approaching an LT level evaluation. I don't know why, but I don't want them to go TE even if he's there, although, it could be argued, that getting Ebron would alleviate having to take a WR early, as he would fill that role to some degree. I have this feeling Dennard might be the pick. With the rules the way they are, you have no choice but to field top quality DBs in this day and age. It worked for Seattle.

Yes, pretty much what I meant was the top 15 players regardless of position for the steelers, in my case it was top players regardless of position minus QBs

My thoughts on Ebron is taking him with hopes of making him the #3 WR right out of the gates, he wouldnt just be a backup TE.

I have a feeling it will be Dennard as well, not in love with it but I dont hate it

After thinking about it, if we did grab Ebron, we could run two TE sets like NE used to do with Gronk and murder boy. That could actually work quite well, with

    Brown Ebron Miller Wheaton/Moore

    and of course, Bell.

Think of all the option Ben would have each play, especially considering Bell will be used often in the passing game. I fully expect Heath to be 100% back, as he was at the end of last year. Brown is a legit pro bowl WR that Ds have to sweat. Having two TEs, who are both great receivers, can help offset our smallish receiving unit. I could see a lot of hard-to-defend patterns. Have the TEs do a crossing patter with the WR doing outs or posts. Bell chips on a pass rusher and then trots out to the flat. The more I think about it, the more I think this could drive Ds crazy.

There isnt a better football player nor one who fits the Steelers 3-4 zone blitz in this draft like Khalil Mack. He has to be number 1. And after Anthony Barr ran a 4.4 at his pro day he has to be in the top 3. No need to put Clowney, Donald, or Jernigan on here as they do not fit a 3-4. And not going to add a TE who doesn't block.

    1--Khalil Mack OLB
    2--Anthony Barr OLB
    3--Sammy Watkins WR
    4--Greg Robinson OT
    5--Jake Matthews OT
    6--Darqueze Dennard CB
    7--Ra 'Shede Hageman DT
    8--Justin Gilbert CB
    9--Calvin Pryor FS
    10-Dee Ford OLB
    11-Louis NIX III NT
    12-C.J.Mosely ILB
    13-Jordan Matthews WR
    14-Mike Evans WR
    15-Ha Ha Clinton-Dix FS

Now put what you think will be the big board with all 32 teams involved and see who is the first player from your list that hasn't been drafted and that will be the Steeler pick according to your Steeler big board and the big board in its entirety. I like the list you have there, it will be interesting to see which player shakes out in your scenario.

Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

That could easily end up 6th.
