logical reaction for a fan of the Steelers.

I agree on drops not sure I agree with 40 times tho... if I see 2 guys on the field and one is always running by players while the others is getting tracked I'm prone to believe the one who doesn't get caught is probably faster.

also have to remember those pro days were 7 years ago.

I agree.....that's like focusing on someone's ACT scores after he's been working for a decade..... like, who cares. Both players have been nicked and dinged to make it irrelevant.

I hate this signing. I sure hope Wheaton can step it up.

I'm ambivalent about it. Why do you hate it so much?

why? You can't say you hate it without explaining why. If our FO thinks this signing makes our WR core complete than I see your point but looking at stats it seems like a wash.

    hey football guru,
can you list the wrs in order from best to worst hands?
give you also give me your list of the wrs that make 'tough catches'
tell me how you determined that moore is faster and quicker than cotchery.
even tho they have very similar numbers(catches, drops, old 40 times, etc), tell me how moore is such a better wr than cotchery that it isnt even close.
how did you come to all those conclusions, whats your secret for player evaluation?
did you see a couple highlights on espn?
did you got to nfl.com and look up a couple stats?
how many games or practices did you go to in person to analyze moores and cotchery's game?
dude, admit that you dont have one factual piece of evidence to support your dumbass claim that moore is far superior, in every aspect, compared to cotchery.

while your at it, tell me how you determined that looking at proday numbers means someone never played sports.
seems like there are lots of coaches, scouts and gms that attend the combine and pro days and everyone of them look at numbers. let me guess, they never played sports either...............you lose clown

That #1 and #2 on the list are both from the same team DOESN'T encourage me, but, instead makes me wonder... isn't that partly a function of whether your team is aggressive when going for 3rd downs? What i mean is, I saw a LOT of 3rd and 8's where the Steelers threw TE screens last year. With that, I would imagine Heath's percentages on 3rd down last year, may well have been a little lower than usual, however his catches on 3rd down may have been up (save the injury). OTOH, would Jimmy Graham's numbers be more in line with Colston and Moore?

Stats just never tell the whole picture.
