With all the visits we've had in the past week, and the relative lack of cap room we have available (less than $2.5M), it really seems we need more cap space now if we really want one or two of these guys to do more than visit and still bring Cotch back. So, time to restructure Ben by extending him a few more years. He's a proven winner and I'm all in for a few more SB runs around him--the league is full of QBs that just aren't SB capable, so let's keep ours and have him retire a Steeler. If it means we go 2-14 and start over with a 1st round QB after he leaves, so be it. Second, sign Worilds to a longer term contract to reduce his cap hit this year. Those two moves will get us the room to make a few moves now before the draft, and once Woodley's money clears in June we can sign our rookies and maybe do a little back-filling of weaknesses with the June 1 cuts (at a good price).
