Wow. Relax. Virtually no one sees their contracts all the way through in the NFL (on either side). It's all about the guaranteed money. Not sure what the signing bonus is for him.
I was hoping for 5 yrs, 20 M, but I'll take it. Locks him up for a manageable price until he is 31/32 years old. Give him a 2 or 3 year contract after that if he establishes himself and we are set for a good long while.

Good signing. Removes the need to look at FS until Day 3 of the draft. Add a ILB or NT as another FA signing and the defense is looki ng better and no need to panic and sell out on defense in the draft. Get the best players when we are drafting.
I'd also like to see us add a ILB or NT through free agency so in addition to offense at #15 we could look a some DEs like Hageman or Tuitt.
