If it's true that he took a paycut, then I think it is a great deal for both sides.

    Ed Bouchette ‏@EdBouchette:

Ike Taylor agrees to 1-year deal for $2.75 M salary. No years added. Cut from $7M salary. Saves team $4.25 M in cap room.

Steel Maniac's Time-Based Prediction: Lamar Jackson will be a bust and total flop in the NFL.

What Actually Happened: Lamar Jackson became the youngest two-time NFL MVP winner ever.

awesome. He deserves a standing o from fans for that type of loyalty and responsible attitude.

    Thanks, Ike
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

Wow! That was a tremendous concession on Ike's part. Got to agree with squiddy, I think Ike has got to be one of my favorite Steelers now. Wish he could rewind his skills 4 or 5 years, but everyone gets older.

Sort of stayed out of the "Ike has to go" stuff.

Fact is, he's still the #1 CB on this team until he's replaced. And what's on the market isn't significantly better than him.
The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?

    Light up the darkness.

    2024 Draft

    3. Devontez Walker WR
    3. Maason Smith DT
    4. Matt Goncalves OT
    6. Trevin Wallace ILB
    7. AJ Barner TE

Ike's been a number 1 CB on this team for a lot of years. Didn't play like one last year. I hope he proves me wrong, and returns to form for the next year or so.

Great news for both. He is obviously smarter than Harrison was.

No doubt.. the sad thing is...Harrison really could have helped us last year. Heck...even could have helped us this year with the way things are going.
