Agreed. Ike is giving us a chance to draft his replacement, and hopefully make for a smooth transition. Taking that pay cut proves that he is a team first type of guy. Good for him...and the black and gold. Now if we can find a mid 20's plug and play safety in FA.. we can start feeling better about the Secondary.

Ike Taylor agrees to 1-year deal for $2.75 M salary. No years added. Cut from $7M salary. Saves team $4.25 M in cap room.

great news...i thought hed take a pay cut. He (like troy) had his big pay day with the steelers, and now hes giving the hometown discount to stay.

Hes definitely capable of a big bounce back

awesome. He deserves a standing o from fans for that type of loyalty and responsible attitude.

    Thanks, Ike
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

Goes to show, for some, it's a business. For others, there's more to it. (the Keenan Lewis saga is in the same vein, just not on the Steelers side)

Glad to have Ike back for a lot of reasons. And .. he has at least one more INT in him.

    Never argue with stupid people.
They will drag you down to their level
and then sick beat you with their experience.
