I'm with you Bradshaw. I would be feeling a lot better knowing that the steelers made him an offer, and he turned it down to go home. I'd be Ok with that scenario. I'd also be somewhat Ok if we were able to replace him. I am hoping at this point that they cut Ike outright or reduce him to the point to where we can sign a solid FA corner to help get our secondary back in order ASAP.

Fuller would be good between 22-28 I think. I would also be ok with Kelvin Benjamin at that point if Fuller isn't available.

Would love to somehow get another maybe late 2nd or early 3rd and also look at Terrence Brooks, FS from Florida State.
I would **** if Benjamin dropped to us in the second.

Having verner would make losing Lewis a little less painful...

Verner is about to cost twice as much as Lewis did too.

All else being equal, I'd take Verner. But, as others have pointed out, Verner is likely to get a deal worth twice as much as Lewis. So the real question is, would you prefer Verner or Keenan Lewis + $5 million of cap space to address another need. I'd prefer Lewis and the cap space.

Why is keenan lewis talked about so ridiculously much on this board? He's gone and has been gone for a long while now. He wanted to play in NO period. Do we have rock solid evidence the steelers didnt talk to him about a new contract? Either way the lewis obsession is ridiculous. Hes GONE!

Not seeing a lot of 'value' in FA CB's- most of the CB's with upside are going to demand contracts similar to where Ike is now, or more.

Safety, however, has numerous players in the mid 20's with upside who can upgrade the team now.

If it where up to Chadman, draft a CB, sign a FA FS, and maybe stop asking Ike to play on an island as often.
The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?

    Light up the darkness.
