    Exactly and he can fill in for awhile if our young guys aren't ready at FS yet.

    As a depth signing, sure. But if he is our starting FS, the Steelers have not improved.
    The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?

    same could be said for any number of positions on that side of the ball Chad. I think it's about keeping as many solid "Bargain" guys around as we can at this point. W. Allen has been solid for us.

    Solid move. He can fill in at either position, play in sub packages, and contribute on special teams.

    Wouldn't be surprised to see him start... depends on who is on the board in the first...

    Kinda looking like this team may be active in free agency this year...
