    Maybe the Steelers are going to honor Ike's final year of his contract? At least he is on the field for the majority of defensive snaps..... unlike his fellow LB who is counting even more against the cap.

    I just don't see Ike's situation playing out like this, that would be an expensive "thank you" for your service and it will tie their hands in making the team better from a financial standpoint.

    I think chances are the Steelers keep Ike at a reduced salary.

    Don't know that it's likely now that they'll keep Woodley.

    It'll be interesting to watch how this plays out.

    I don't think that is a good business decision at all. With Ike's paycut (let's say 3-4 million), you can get a good player.

    For example, If Ike takes a 3-4 million cut like he should, that would pay for the 1st year of Malcom Jenkins' contract
