I think Joey was a smart player as much as he was talented so this should do well with teaching the players plus, someone they can relate to. With all our 70's Steeler great players, outside of Joe Green was there any other coaches from that teams era ?

The FO must agree. This D lost it's swagger awhile back. There is no intimidation...no fear from opposing teams. I must believe Porter was brought in to inject some attitude.

He can probably still rush the QB from the right better than anyone we have on the roster right now.

That's just wrong. Funny as hell, sure. But wrong.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Is it for off-season and training camp only? Or is it a permanent position?

If he an assistant LB coach on an ongoing basis, does this mean that more defensive responsibility goes to Butler?
