Sanders is dead to me now...

hawaiiansteel, don't know where you found that picture of him with Peyton and Welker, but that was hilarious!

It's always interesting to see a player whom most think was 'average' will pan out under a different system. We all thought wallace was a one trick pony who talks a big game but doesn't live up to his hype - and so far that appears correct. Is the majority correct on sanders? The seahawks showed the trick to beating the broncos is to literally beat the crap out of them. Manny is fast and can catch the ball when no one is near him. But catching the ball and holding on after contact has not been his skill set in my opinion. I'm sure he's lighting it up in OTA's where no one is planting him. let's see what happens in sept.

I think Sanders will start for the Broncos (since they go 3-wide so often), but Demaryius Thomas, Wes Welker, and Julius Thomas will all out-perform him in the Denver passing game. In fact, I think that rookie Cody Latimer could pass Sanders on the depth chart before the year is up. If so, Manny would have to hope that Denver does not re-up with Welker in the off-season, so that he can take over his slot role in 2015.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I think Sanders will have a very good season, but I don't think he will be enough to put the Donks over the Super-Bowl-winning threshhold. They'll be embarrassed again in the postseason, and Peyton will take his mediocre playoff record into retirement.

While I agree with your assessment of Sanders I don't about Wallace. Put Wallace in a Drew Brees led offense or a Tom Brady led offense and he will excel ... just like he did with Ben until he decided to blow off the last year.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

    but Go Steelers!!!
