    Name to watch for Steelers RB coach opening

    Art Valero. Currently Colorado St TE Coach
    32 year coaching vet
    Coached with Mike Tomlin in Tampa (RB coach)
    Was Mike Munchak's asst. OL coach

    Has coached Cadillac Williams, Steven Jackson, Marshawn Lynch and ChrisJohnson to name a few.

    Sounds very interesting and with a ton of experience like Richard Mann, the WR coach Tomlin added last year.

    Interesting name. There are apparently a few guys out there with good pedigree and some ties to the organization. Hope they make a good hire.

    RB coach is the least of this teams worries

    I would rather see them kick a young guy like sarret over there instead of hiring some fossil. Seems funny experience is bad for some and good for others. Having him serve in a different capacity under munchak could speed his development and may prove to be the heir apparent in case munchak moves on in a year or two.

    He is 55 years old. Hardly a fossil.

    sadly, I haven't reached that milestone yet, but my kids still call me "fossil"...... all relative I guess.

    He sounds good. But, if he is a good NFL position coach, why is coaching TEs at Colorado St?
    Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.
