    Miles Austin?

According to MR. Dallas Cowboy Insider, Ed Werder, Miles Austin will be cut by the Cowboys. Austin will be 30 next season, has great size, big play ability, and is coming off an injury year that may allow him to come in relatively cheap.

    Any thoughts?

he will pull a hammy getting off the plane... I like the idea of him but it seems like he is always injured or too dinged up to be a factor.

24 catches for 224 yards and 0 TD's.. how did he go 16 games without a TD in a pass happy offense?

    no thanks.

I doubt if he'll be real cheap. I'd rather re-sign Cotch and then concentrate on getting a really good receiver in the draft.

To quote big Tuna, "She is always hurt." Leftover Dallas damaged goods? No thanks. Very unSteeler like. I like Brown, Wheaton and another rookie to compete for the spots after Brown. Bring Cotchery back too.

thing is, miles is a pretty good WR and would work well in our schemes... if he could stay healthy.

as said by another, i'd prefer cotch and a rook... but, wouldn't be terrible... he'd have to send me pics of kim k, tho!

I would pass on Austin. 30 and often injured is not a great combo. Wheaton I believe was a high ceiling. Justin Brown also showed talent during camp and in the pre-season. His year on the practce squad had to help. JB has some good special team skills as well.

If you add the fact that his hamstrings are made of paper, that description would fit Lamarr Woodley to a T.
