    In DEFENSE of DEFENSE

Of those teams remaining in the play offs, D ranking.

    Seattle - 1.
    SF - 5.
    Car - 2.
    N.O. - 4.
    Colts - 20.
    Broncos - 19.
    SD - 23
    N.E. - 26

So what's it all mean? D still matters...but not always.

Especially in the AFC for some reason.

Every team left in the NFC is a top D.

It tells me that the top defenses in the AFC probably had bad offenses. Brady, Manning, Luck and Rivers will be carrying their teams, the team whose defense makes a couple key plays will win the games.

the AFC offenses can virtually score at will, with the exception of San Diego I would think. They are just able to outscore the other teams.
