    that Leslie Frasier is the new DC
    I'd love to see them trade out of this pick but.....this is what I got

    total speculation. if this thread was on the Page 2 right now I wouldn't comment and bring it back to page 1.

    I would be very surprised if Leslie Frazier is the new DC for two reasons. One, he has never run a 3-4 and two the Steelers brass has told Kevin Butler he is next in line. The Rooney's dont go back on their word.

    Agreed!

    The ONLY reason the Steelers would stiff Kevin Butler, at this point, is if they were planning to convert the D to a 4-3 (something which, considering the present personnel on the roster, might make sense). If that was the case, it really wouldn't alter draft strategy but it would increase the urgency of bolstering DL depth.

    My sense is that it is Butler's job to lose if LeBeau retires.

    You are right. Butler will be the DC if Rooneys told him he is next in line, end of story.
