I think McLendon would make a much better DE than NT in our 3-4 scheme.

perhaps our starting DL next season might be: Heyward - Woods - McLendon
Steel Maniac's Time-Based Prediction: Lamar Jackson will be a bust and total flop in the NFL.

What Actually Happened: Lamar Jackson became the youngest two-time NFL MVP winner ever.

I like your Louis Nix pick, that would allow McLendon to slide over to DE.

Just feel as though we have to solidify the center of our front seven and take away any opponents ability to run on us with any significant measure of success.

Watch that ND-Alabama game from last year, to see Nix at his best. Very impressive.

TBH, Woods and McLendon are both guys I'd like to keep as depth. I don't really see either as starting material (unless, they were playing next to a dominator... like Nix

Anyone notice after Collinsworth talked about how good Woods looked, he was out the next play?
    It was a 3rd and 2 also....

Cant let him look too good. I don't think he is under contract next year, he needs to be cheap

Woods had a solid game tonight. I liked the play of the Center too, and he didn't try to play proctologist tonight either- which is a good thing... We're slowly getting some good depth at OL. If we bring Pouncey and Velasco back, we have some guys that can back up at C and G.

Ziggy played well too. Looking like they have their starting 3 up front along with a little bit of depth in McClendon, but they should invest another early draft pick in a 3-4 DE.
