New OT leaves team for personnal reasons

    Well, that was quick:

Bob Labriola@BobLabriola9mRashad Butler, the recently signed OT by the @Steelers, has left the team for personal reasons.

At this point, why do we even have 2 o-lineman on the practice squad, Hubbard and Long, if they can't make the team now? Wasting space if they are not even worth a look as the literal 10th + option.

I had completely forgotten about them.

Also, with all the talk of Beachum sliding to center (where he was awful against the Titans), if that is the move the Steelers make, what is the point of Cody Wallace being on the roster? And was John Malecki, whose early camp reports were so glowing, so terrible that he is not an option as the 5th option or whatever at center?

I was thinking more like signing Chukky Okobi or Justin Hartwig.

33? hell that's old when you consider that 30 year old Trai Essex and 30 year old Chris Kemoatu are still out there looking for work.
