    To the Rooneys with respect,

    Make coach Cowher an offer to return as Head Coach. And if he excepts, remove as many players as possible drafted under Tomlin's regime. And perhaps even make a trade for or draft a QB that he (Coach Cowher) believes in,.....he will take care of Coaching, molding and drafting all other personnel to return our honor on both sides of the ball. (Especially on the defensive side)

    Why Cowher and not Chuck Noll??? Wouldnt you rather replace Tomlins players with Chucks Hall of Famers? Then we would win 4 more Super Bowls easily.

    This wasn't on Haley or Tomlin. It was on the D not being able to make a real stop. And on the players -- dropping balls, bad throws.

    And why not be sincere as opposed to sarcastic ? When in reality it's just a defense mechanism on your part to help you cope with the fact that as predicted years ago,...Mike Tomlin would do the same thing to this franchise that Gruden did to the Bucs unit created by Dungy,....run it into the ground with poor drafting and personnel decisions. Coach Cowher would still be very effective as a head Coach and has a great understanding of the Steeler Ideal that we all hold dear whether we agree or not.

    Special teams are crucial during a Steeler-Raven game. Their kicker knocked everything between the pipes. Our kicker kicks it short allowing a big return, can't even get the ball off the ground on a field goal attempt, and screwed up the onside kick.

    This makes sense because Cowher had a winning record every year & won so many Super Bowls...
    It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust & sweat & blood...

    I did not say Coach was perfect. However at our very worst under his tenure could any player, any Coach or organization in the league view us as,...for lack of a more fitting description right now,....mediocre and marginally talented p##sies with no identity ? That is a negative.
